Q1. Which areas do you operate from?
We operate from Montego Bay, Jamaica, offering tours, excursions, and transportation islandwide.
Q2. Are there any weight restrictions for any of the excursions?
- ATVs up to 230lbs
- Bamboo river rafting maximum of 550lbs (2 person per raft)
- Horseback Riding up to 230lbs
- Zip lining 265lbs
- River tubing 300lbs
Q3. Can I do multiple tours in one day?
Only combo tours can be done in one day. Single tours in different locations cannot be completed in one day due to travel time.
Q4. Can I customize my tour day?
Absolutely, we can arrange custom routes, photoshoots, special events, and customized experiences.
Q5. Do you offer family-friendly tours?
Yes, most tours are suitable for kids and seniors. Some adventure tours may have age or weight restrictions.
Q6. Do you pick up from hotels, Airbnbs, and the cruise port?
Yes, we pick up from all locations including hotels, villas, resorts, guest houses, and cruise terminals.
Booking & Scheduling
Q1.How do I book a tour or transfer?
You can book through our website, WhatsApp, Instagram, or by contacting our support team.
Q2. How far in advance should I book?
Booking 1 week in advance is recommended, especially during busy seasons.
Q3. Can I modify my booking?
Yes, changes can be made up to 24 -48 hours before your scheduled pickup, based on availability.
Q4. Can I book a tour after arriving in Jamaica?
Yes, same-day and next-day bookings are possible depending on availability.
Q5. How many people can you accommodate?
We can accommodate solo travelers, couples, families, and large groups of any size.
Q6. How will I meet my driver?
You will receive a message with the driver’s name, vehicle info, and pickup instructions.
Payment, Fees & Cancellation
Q1. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept:
- Cash (USD & JMD)
- Zelle & CashApp
- Paypal
Q2. Are there any extra charges?
We have no hidden fees. However, if you pay online, the payment platform you use may charge a processing fee.
Q3. Do you require a deposit to confirm my booking?
Yes, a 50% advance payment is required to secure your driver and booking date.
Q4. What is your cancellation policy?
- 48 hours or more in advance: No cancellation fee (full refund).
- Less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours in advance: 50% penalty will apply.
- 24 hours or less in advance (or on the day): 100% penalty will apply (no refund).
- Important: All cancellations must be submitted in writing and received by Avanna Tours within the specified timeframes to be eligible for any refund.
Q5. Will my price change after booking?
No, once confirmed, your rate is locked in, unless you add extra services.
Tour & Transfer Experience
Q1. Do you provide safety equipment for adventure tours?
Yes, activities like ATV, horseback riding, and rafting include safety gear.
Q2. What should I bring for my tour?
Sunscreen, comfortable clothes, water shoes (for waterfalls), and cash for souvenirs.
Q3. Are photos included in the tours?
Some tours like Clear kayak & Jet Car Photoshoot include drone or professional photos. Others offer photos at an additional cost.
Q4. Can the driver take us shopping, restaurants, or clubs?
Yes, extra stops like shopping or restaurants can be arranged for an additional fee.
Q5. Do your tours continue in bad weather?
Light rain is fine, but for unsafe weather, tours may be rescheduled or refunded.
Q6. Do you offer VIP or luxury upgrades?
Yes, luxury fleet (including SUVs and Sprinters) and VIP experiences are available upon request.
